Just Because
I can't really think of anything to blog about right now, except that I think I am going a little stir crazy these days, so here are some cute pictures of Grace:

50 Things about Me
1. I am still not a US citizen
2. I stole this post idea from Sarah
3. My favorite colors are red, pink, purple and sometimes green
4. I am indecisive (see #3)
5. My hair got curly when I hit puberty, was stick straight until then
6. I have been loving watching Michael Phelps win gold medals
7. The Olympics are the best when watching with a DVR
8. The first musical I was ever in was "Brigadoon" at age 8
9. I like to cook and try to be at least a little good at it
10. My pet peave is when people leave their nail clippings around, so gross
11. I was one of those parade princesses in high school
12. I love the smell of new rubber
13. A long, hot shower is my favorite way to start the day
14. Favorite soda: Dr Pepper with Cherry Coke a close second
15. My first concert was then country star Neal McCoy and my sisters were probably forced to take me
16. I suck at ice skating and roller skating, I guess I am just not meant to be on wheels
17. I have never sprained or broken a bone (knock on wood!)
18. Seriously, I love water parks, like a lot
19. I know how to do all kinds of Polynesian dances and danced in the BYU luau twice
20. I hate exercising
21. Dave and I went on our first date to Fuddruckers and miniature golf
22. We kissed on the second date
23. I love dangly earrings and have to say goodbye to them soon in order to keep my earlobes intact
24. Pizza is my favorite food
25. Especially pepperoni
26. I love pretty much all ethnic food except for Greek
27. My first job was at Fresh Mex place
28. I gained a lot of weight while working there
29. I am afraid of heights
30. But I like the thrill of cliff jumping
31. I fist went backpacking when I was 15
32. I went for the second time when I was 20
33. Yup it is not my favorite thing
34. I love dressing up at Halloween
35. Thank goodness Dave does too!
36. I was in labor with Grace for 15 hours
37. It was a long induction
38. I wish I had the thick skin to be a better actress
39. I love the beach and wish I lived by it
40. I took piano lessons for four years
41. I prefer markers over crayons
42. New clothes are the best
43. I love Grace's bald head
44. My new favorite way to start the day is finding Grace smiling and playing in her crib

4 Months
Yesterday was Grace's 4 month doctor appointment and we learned the following:
She now weighs in at 14lbs 3 oz
She is 26.5 inches long
And she has a big head at 43.3 cm
We were happy to be reassured that she is healthy and growing well! She loves blowing bubbles and makes those wet razzing sounds with her mouth. She is making strides on the whole flipping over challenge and giggles like a wild maniac when her Daddy sings and dances with her! Grace also recently went into the pool for the first time, I think she liked it, but mainly she was processing the new event! She is certainly a joy to have around, I couldn't go a day without her cute dimple smile!
On another note...today a weird thing happened, I found myself looking forward to Fall. Me, a summer fanatic is already excited for the cooler days and holiday season! Maybe it is because today is so cloudy or maybe because I am seriously sick of weather in the 90s everyday, but I can't wait for pumpkins, then turkey, then Christmas trees. Go ahead slap me because it is only August and I really do want to enjoy this last month of wonderful sunshine as much as I can. So I will snap out of it and enjoy the now, but maybe I will make some soup while I am waiting.
