Happy birthday to Dave!

Yesterday was Dave's 28th birthday! Dave only wanted to go one place for his birthday...Goodwood BBQ. He also knew what he would be ordering last week! We dropped Grace off at her Aunt Jen's house and went on to feast at Goodwood. We had a lot of fun just spending some time together and of course eating.

At work yesterday Dave also got a nice surprise from his friends Andy and Joe. Here is the video they took for all to enjoy!

Happy birthday Dave, I love you and the wonderful man you are!

Chunky Monkey

I just took Grace in for her two month appointment this morning and wow, when I said she was growing I was so right!

WEIGHT: Birth 9lbs 11oz, 2 months 13lbs 5 oz, 94%
LENGTH: Birth 21.5in , 2 months 25in, Off the Charts!!!
HEAD: Birth 37.3cm, 2 months 40.5cm, 89%

Oh man, no need to worry if she is eating enough! She was a trooper with her shots- one really sad cry and then she was alright.

Two months

Today Grace is two months old. Part of me can't believe that she is two months already and the other part feels like she has been with us forever. She is always making discoveries and growing so fast! Before Grace was born I was so afraid that I would not have a cuddly baby, so thank goodness that she is my little cuddle bug! Who knows if it will last or not, but I am loving this time when I can just hold her and not worry about much else. Even with my future children I will not have this luxury. She is a wonderful snuggler and I love it!
The other day Dave and I watched the video from when Grace was born for the first time. Dave taped throughout the day and right after she was born. It was nice to see what the nurse was doing with her while I was being stitched up, etc. I loved seeing how she has already changed so much and reliving some of those precious moments from our first days getting to know Grace. I am so grateful for her and for the changes she has brought to our family. It is so sweet seeing Dave as a new father and the care that he takes with little Gracie. I love them both!
