I can't wait to see the friendship grow between these two. I know the future will hold arguments and drama between them, but I sure hope there is still a lot of this:

The New Normal

We have been really busy around here lately, but trying to keep occupied without going out often is no easy task. This is what we have been doing:

Keeping this little guy fed and happy.

Playing with Strawberry Shortcake and friends.

Practicing using the potty.

Sleeping whenever possible.

Dancing in princess dresses to the Glee soundtrack

...and singing.

And enjoying these precious gems.

No time like the present

Just when I catch myself wishing time away or cursing the ridiculous amount of pee and poo I deal with each day...there is a moment like this:




and I think how lucky I am. Life is good, slightly different then it was, but definitely good.

We are Home!

Sterling James Swanson was born on December 2nd at 5:22pm! He weighed in at 8lbs 6 ounces and 18 inches long. He is such a cutie, has the most gorgeous dark hair and big ole cheeks. It was a very smooth labor and delivery and we are both doing well. Now we are just dealing with jaundice and a couple other weird things. Grace loves her little brother, but is definitely showing extra neediness. Our house is a disastrous mess so if you feel like coming to visit be sure to just look at Sterling:)
