Then last night Dave and I went to the Weezer concert. Holy cow we had a fun time! I think one of the reasons Dave and I fell in love with each other was because of our mutual love of music and we have been sad not to be able to attend as many concerts as we would like in the last couple of years. So when we found out that Weezer was coming to town we could not pass up the opportunity. Grace was left in good hands with her Grammy and we headed to the show to meet up with Andy and Emily, Joe and Emily, Brittany and Sean and Nick and Rick. Angels and Airwaves was one of the opening bands and I have to admit that I was happy to see them leave the stage. Weezer opened with "My Name is Jonas" and continued on with their best hits and songs from The Red Album. We knew it was going to be a great show from the moment they pulled out the mini trampoline and came out on stage in white jumpsuits. By the end our legs were weak from standing for so long, but it was well worth it and I loved every minute.
Oh yes and a weight update for Grace from her 6th month appointment last Friday. She is now 18lbs 8oz and 27.6inches long. She is healthy and rolling around the whole house right now, so I better go get her!

That second picture is awesome. I love the face Grace is making. And Holy Cow Im jealous you went to Weezer. Im sure that was loads of fun. They will be here next week... but I dont have tickets, sadly. I'll just enjoy them on my Ipod. :)
i hear you on the love for music thing... it is the same in my marriage and weezer has always been a big part of us.(hence, Jonas' name.) we were able to see them once though so that was good, but we sorely missed out this go around. luckily, there will always be more weezer shows to look forward to!

Weezer was awesome! I must agree about Angels and Airwaves...not so good. I wish we could go to more concerts too, it's too bad they cost so much money!
i LOVE the expression on Grace's face in the second pic! Its like she's screaming for joy. Good thing you went out and enjoyed the weather while you could - looks like its getting COLD out there now! Time for baby snowsuits, eh?
And Ill join in the chorus of "Im jealous you went to Weezer" - they came to Spokane when I was like 16 and I was going to go with Trent, but it was on Sunday so we couldnt. I guess theyre smarter when theyre in Utah and perform on a saturday!

I went to Weezer in LA! It was such a great show! Loved it. You two look so happy, it's awesome to read your blog. Your little girl is the cutest thing ever, so smiley! Glad you guys are doing so well!
